Product Manager for Robotics Systems

About the Position

As a product manager for robotics systems, you will work with the Navy's weapon systems for surface combat, Rbs 15. You will also be responsible for supporting the technical manager and chief engineer in taking technical design responsibility during the ongoing procurement of materials and major modifications, as well as supporting the Armed Forces in their exercise of technical design responsibility during the maintenance phase and participating in various types of projects in all their different phases.

In the role of taking technical design responsibility, you will be responsible for development, configuration management, monitoring of status and performance, and quality assurance of the systems within your area of responsibility. This includes proposing measures to correct any functional and safety-related deficiencies.

You will participate in procurement and maintenance projects. This means you will be involved in planning, execution, and follow-ups to ensure the technical functionality of the materials throughout their lifecycle.

The role of product manager also involves contributing to the preparation of documentation for the defense material plan. You will also represent FMV in international collaborations.

The position is based in Stockholm and involves travel both domestically and internationally.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree in a technical field or military officer training, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You have experience leading lifecycle planning and maintenance of the Navy's surface combat system RBS 15 and evaluating these. Furthermore, you have experience in operational management and maintenance of the systems or other technical systems of comparable complexity.

We believe you have experience in technical project work within marine systems. It is beneficial if you have experience in verification and validation of systems, where you have worked with testing against requirements and technical specifications. Knowledge and experience in risk management and systems safety work are advantageous.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Since many of our suppliers are located outside public transport, you need to have a Class B driver's license.

The marine area consists of three producing departments: Surface Combat Systems, Underwater Combat Systems, and Amphibious, Base, and Support Systems. The focus of our operations is based in Stockholm, but we also operate in other locations.
